A crazy week setting and staking the last leg of the Iron Dog Trail to the finish line and staffing the North Pole Fuel Depot.
Steve Nolan deserves a big pat on the back for making sure the trail was staked from Nenana to the mouth of the Chena. And to Steve E for helping on the Tanana from the mouth of the Chena to the Dike, and Brian for helping get the Chena done.

It was a long week but I did get to ride everyday for 8 days straight and put lots of miles on the Bearcat. Brian stuck it out with me even after he went through the ice. Yup, he got wet marking a hazard on the Chena between the Damn and the Spillway. Got just a little to close to the edge of that open lead, Ooops. But he was a trooper and I had to pretty much force him to go the COE office to dry out.
The Ellis’s, Steve and Nicole were great once again at the Fuel Depot and I couldn’t of done it without them and their son who plans to be a Iron Dogger in about 8 years. This was a great year running the Tanana and I see lots of folks have been using the trail from town to Chena Lakes, so we’ve opened up some new riding area’s that don’t usually see a lot of traffic, hope everyone enjoys it while you can.
Thanks to all who helped “get‘er it done”.
