Drove down to Hurricane and meet up with Dean and Sean and hauled in the wood stove, bigger generator and material for the generator shed.

Nice trip, but the snow was getting rotten by the afternoon. I immediately got stuck Saturday morning setting the trail into the cabin to haul on. Run over a big mound of snow that turned out to be the lip to a nice deep powder/slush pile. Dang it, had to use the come-a-long for the first time to get the Bearcat out. It was a really deep hole.

Spent Sat and Sun hauling materials while Sean worked on the electrical wiring and kept commenting on Dean and I using the Old Mens chairs to much . We did fuss with the furnace, trying to get it to run right. Had an air leak that turned out to be a loose connection. Once we got it figured out and fixed we had heat, yeah team.

Saturday afternoon it was 70 above (f) in the sun and this made for a couple of short days. We started in the morning and had to be back to the rigs by 1:00 PM or else deal with the slush which would of been better if we switched out the snowmachines for Jet Skis.

At least I can now stay at the cabin. I have heat, a cook stove, cot, and power to run tools, so life is good and getting better. Next trip Tyler and I will be staying at the cabin and work on the exterior wall sheeting and the generator shed. Hopefully I can have the insulation in and the wood stove going by next winter.
